A graduate of Smith and the University of Cape Town, where I gained my Masters in Social Science, sports and fitness has always been my passion.
Before moving to California, I developed and ran domestic violence programs in some of the poorest areas of the country. It was in working with my clients and helping them rebuild their shattered lives that I came to appreciate anew the healing benefits of exercise, and soon incorporated health-related activities into all my programs. I then became a certified personal and group fitness trainer, working with people to create balanced, healthy lives.
I am passionate about working with my clients. I help to identify and explore what motivates them, and integrate that into a truly individual program that delivers not just short-term results, but sustains over the long haul.
Moving to the Bay Area in 2007, I have built a successful Active Lifestyle training company. I have been a competitive swimmer for over 15 years, and in the last 4 I have competed and placed in numerous triathlons.
